I have experience as both a mentor and a tutor and have assisted students in a vast array of subjects, making me a very versatile tutor. I truly enjoy working with students as they work toward academic success. I am grateful that I have had so many opportunities for higher education, and I am enthusiastic about helping others gain more opportunities as well. Some of the subjects I am available to tutor in include Spanish, World History, American History, Social Studies, Geography, Essay Writing, Phonics, Grammar and Mechanics, College Essays, Literature, Government, and Anthropology. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in African American Studies with a Women's Studies minor, which I earned from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. I am also a graduate of Eastern University, where I earned a Master of Arts degree in Urban Studies with a Community Development concentration. I am clearly passionate about education, which is why I enjoy working with students and helping them excel academically. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and traveling the world whenever possible.
